A temporary email address for every sign-up you don't trust
PureTempMail gives you a random, receive-only email address the moment you open the app. Paste it into a sign-up form, read the code or link when it arrives, and let the mailbox delete itself when its time is up.
Free on Android. Contains ads. No account needed.
How it works
- 1
Open the app
A random address is created for you automatically, with no form to fill in.
- 2
Paste it where you need it
Copy the address into any website or app that asks for an email.
- 3
Read what arrives
Verification codes, links and attachments show up in the app as they arrive. When you are done, delete the address or let it expire.
What PureTempMail does
- Random addresses
- Get a new address with one tap. Addresses are generated at random, so no one can guess or target yours.
- Live inbox
- Verification codes, links and attachments show up in the app as soon as they are delivered.
- Attachments
- Receive PDFs, images, ZIP archives or any other file type, and download them from the message.
- One-hour mailboxes
- Each mailbox lasts an hour, then deletes itself.
- Receive-only
- PureTempMail can't send email, so it can't be used to send spam.
- Automatic deletion
- When a mailbox expires, the address, every message and every attachment are permanently deleted from the servers.
When a temporary address helps
Use one whenever a site wants your email before it gives you something, and that one message is all you need from it.
- Signing up for a new social network you want to try before it gets your real address
- Free trials you may not keep
- One-time discount codes from online shops, without the newsletters that follow
- E-books, whitepapers and other downloads that ask for an email first
- Public Wi-Fi sign-in pages that want an address before they connect you
- Testing the sign-up and verification emails of an app you are building, with as many addresses as the test needs
How a disposable address keeps spam out of your real inbox
Many sites that collect an email address go on to send newsletters or sell their user lists. Give them a PureTempMail address and your real address never reaches those lists. If the site is later hacked or sells its data, the only address exposed is one that has already deleted itself.
When to use your real address instead
Keep your permanent email for anything involving money, deliveries or account recovery. Marketplaces, streaming subscriptions and payment services keep sending receipts, shipping updates and password resets long after a temporary mailbox is gone. Some of them also treat throwaway addresses as a fraud signal and may suspend the account.
Use it in a browser with puretempmail.com

PureTempMail questions
Is PureTempMail free?
Yes. PureTempMail is free to download on Google Play and shows ads. No account is needed.
How long does a PureTempMail address last?
One hour. When it expires, the mailbox and everything in it are deleted.
Can I send email from PureTempMail?
No. PureTempMail only receives email, so it can't be used to send spam.
Why hasn't my verification email arrived?
Give it a few minutes, since some senders retry later. Check that you copied the address exactly and that the mailbox hasn't expired. Banks and payment services often refuse temporary addresses.
Can I receive attachments?
Yes. Files of any type arrive with the message, and you can download them until the mailbox expires.
Is it legal to use a temporary email address?
Yes, in all major jurisdictions, much like using a P.O. box. Using any email service for fraud or harassment is against the law.
