One tap to a video call with someone you haven't met yet
Meetix pairs you at random with another person for a live video chat. Narrow the match by region or gender, type to each other with built-in translation when you don't share a language, and add the people you get along with to your friend list.
Free on iPhone and Android. Contains ads and optional in-app purchases. For adults 17+.

What Meetix does
- Random matching
- One tap on Start puts you in a live video call with another Meetix user, picked at random from people in other countries or near you.
- Region and gender filters
- Set a region or a gender before you match to choose the kind of conversation you get.
- Text translation
- Type a message and Meetix translates it, so you can chat with someone whose language you don't speak.
- Beauty effects and stickers
- Turn on face beauty filters or add video stickers while you are on camera.
- Friend list
- Add someone as a friend during a chat and keep talking later with private text and video messages.
- History log
- Your recent matches stay in a history list, so you can find a person again after the call ends.
What people use Meetix for
Meetix is for adults who like talking to strangers and want to skip swiping through profiles.
- Making friends in other countries
- Practicing a language you are learning with people who speak it
- A quick conversation with someone new when you have a few minutes
- Staying in touch with the people you clicked with through the friend list
Moderation, reports and blocking
Meetix combines AI moderation with reports from users, and a moderation team works around the clock. The community rules have zero tolerance for inappropriate behavior. No moderation system catches everything. If someone makes you uncomfortable, report or block them from the app.
Before your first chat
Google Play rates Meetix Mature 17+ because users talk to each other directly, and the app is meant for adults. You don't have to give your real name: a nickname and a photo are all a profile asks for, and both are optional. Video calls run over Wi-Fi, 4G or 5G.
